Al Majlis is a Property magazine first; followed closely by an exclusive, and usually affordable, lifestyle attitude.

It is aimed at the upper to lower middle class range of UAE nationals and expatriates alike. Up-and-coming executives, their secretaries, managers and bosses too. This is a Dubai magazine for those living in Dubai or doing business here; and for those who have plans to live or do business in this thriving and busy cosmopolitan city.

The word property is used very loosely as the intention is to bring all sorts of buildings and projects to the fore. Property guides, in chart formats, show how much it costs to rent apartments, villas, warehouses, labour camp housing and plots of land. Sale prices are shown in comparison formats too. Details of project launches include facts and figures to help businessmen decided which schemes to participate in.

Information about local companies which are happily expanding into other regions, building regulations, construction news of interest to those in the trade and details of innovative plans are also focused on.

“Keep reading this issue and the next and the next…we’ll let you know as soon as we know” is a saying that Al Majlis likes to repeat.

Much of the information comes directly from Dubai’s Development Board and it’s bank of approved companies. Articles within its pages are written by experts in their field and experienced journalists. Lawyers, accountants, CEOs and GMs have written in the first few issues of the magazine and this trait will continue in all future editions.

Interviews of top officials and decision makers are included in each issue.

Lifestyle features include home automation, interior and garden design ideas plus information about new home products available locally. This may be about remote controlled lighting, chaise longue and sofas, crystal candleholders or mirrors.
